A cultivated, soulful society values and ensures continuity of multi-culturism

27.Design Aim

My design aim in garments is to express continuity for places, times and cultures that have moved me in my past. By merging cultures I present the absolute necessity for multi cultural co-existence but I also retain distinguishing marks that identify.

I have been inspired by customs and traditions through everyday life through the years and when travelling. I enjoy just being there in parks, markets, carnivals and on buses. Immersed in these spaces we can absorb how we express ourselves differently through art, dress, music, dance, food and homes. This continues to inspire and influence me.

The line in my logo refers to the non negotiable right we have to a cultural life.
