14. Design message

In these clothes I am showing how you can cover up, protect and disguise religious features. This illustrates how religions may be different but the worship and gratitude is common to all.

14. Design Aim

I aim to merge features from different religions to create fashion clothing styles and bring them to everyday wear.

I have referenced and merged different religious clothing with the main black outfits and a small contrast of white. I design these as fashion items and do not design features that would be wearable by the clergy. I reference international religious cover ups with fabrics but I have then taken inspiration from dance costume shapes.

The line is about standing on a line that gives equal freedoms to everyone’s belief system.
